yum yum yum yum yum
got my self a great eggplant muzz. sandwich (i wish i could spell mozzarella) from down the street for lunch. eating it as i type. the place i get them at is always trying to give me a turkey mozzarella sandwich instead.
one deadline done, another begins. ugh.
worked too much last week. too many nights till 3am. i think i need to force myself to go to bed at 9pm this week. _if_ i’m back from work by then. 
got a new roommate this week. she’s all moved in and settling in.
everybody’s sick at work. sniffle sniffle.
started playing with JBoss last night under MacOS X. Very cool program. So easy to set up. Just had to unjar the directory and run it. Had to edit the script to remove the -server command so that it would run under macos, but that wasn’t too hard to do.
went whale watching last weekend for katie’s birthday. camped the night before in half moon bay. it was a great night, though i couldn’t get there until close to midnight. we had 3 birthday cakes (katie brought one, i brought one and sarah brought one) and a great camp fire.
we only saw 4 porposes on the whale watch, though i swear i saw a whale as we left the harbor. oh well. it was wet and cold but it was great to be out on the open ocean. i had never been out on a boat in the pacific before. sf bay, yeah, but never the ocean. next time i will wear more warm clothes and bring gloves. word to the wise.
the boat had a metal exhust pipe that we all pushed out bodies against to warm up. so half of our bodies were burning, the other half was freezing.
took dramine though i never get (knock knock) sea-sick. no problems what so ever. i was even hungry out there. the swells were huge. some of the best .59 cents i’ve ever spent
