I was off my bike for about a month, even since right before Christmas. A blown tire / California rain / “Vacation’ / and then the expected Winter Cold all conspired as they do every January to keep me off the bike till today. Great sunny California “winter” day, got to work in record time due to this tune up I got done a couple weeks ago. Got a new slick on the back which help too.

Here it is 2006. Got the blog back up on its feet after taking it down a couple months ago in order to upgrade to 2.0. Finally got a chance to get things mostly moved over. I need to redo my 1.5 theme for 2.0, hence this default theme. Looks like everything is working though. Kudos to the wordpress team for a mostly smooth migration.

2005 was an interesting year and went by in a flash. Here it is almost at the end of January. 2006, 1/12 gone. Zoom.

I lost a bit of yesterday to a bout with food poisoning. Not a way to spend a precious weekend day and I’m sad that cheese enchililadas with be off the menu for a little while.
